Michael returns to Vienna's Volksoper this season as Kapellmeister. Performances include West Side Story, Eine Nacht in Venedig, Aschenbrödels Traum, Hänsel und Gretel, Die Zauberflöte, Le nozze di Figaro, La clemenza di Tito, and Kaiser Requiem.
He also looks forward to making his debut in the Wiener Staatsoper's NEST theatre with performances of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, as well as making his debut with Opera North (Don Pasquale) and returning to Opera Holland Park (Un ballo in maschera).
